The Bombers forced 28 Buffalo State turnovers and held the Bengals to just 29% shooting in the second half. Ithaca scored 45 second-half points to break open a game that was tied at halftime.
Senior guard Erin Sanvidge (Catholic Central/Troy) scored a team-high 18 points and also led the Bombers with five assists. Sanvidge has scored at least 16 points in three of Ithaca's last four games.
Freshman forward Jeanine Burke (Bridgewater-Raritan/Raritan, N.J.) scored seven points to go along with nine rebounds and three blocks. Junior guard Brynn Fessette (Seton Catholic Central/Plattsburgh) and sophomore guard Amy Smith (Dover/Dover, N.H.) each recorded four steals.
Buffalo State was led by senior forward Darnika Moseley (Liverpool/Liverpool), who recorded a career-high 24 points and 15 rebounds (including 10 offensive rebounds) for the Bengals. Moseley now has 24 career double-doubles.
Jacey Brooks (Machias/Franklinville) added 15 points and seven boards for Buffalo State.
