Rutgers-Newark 58, Purchase 44BRONX, NY — Sophomore Sally Nnamani scored a game high 24 points, while senior guard Kathy Santiago chipped in with 20 points as Lehman College defeated SUNY Morrisville 78-40 in a non-conference match-up at the APEX Arena.
Lehman (15-8 overall) led from the opening tap, and entered the halftime with a 51-22 lead. SUNY Morrisville was led by forward Stacy Hardnett who finished the game with 10 points. Up next for Lehman is a road conference match-up with defending CUNY champions, and divisonal leader Baruch College, on Wednesday, February 7th at 5:30 pm.
