ITHACA, N.Y. — Sophomore point guard Sean Burton (Notre Dame/Yorkville) recorded his first career double-double, netting 12 points and a career-best 10 assists, to lead the Ithaca Bombers to an 82-60 win over the visiting Morrisville Mustangs. The Bombers (1-2) pick up their first win of the season; the Mustangs remain winless at 0-4.

Junior forward Dominick Scanlon (Oswego/Oswego) led Ithaca with 17 points off the bench. Sophomore center Jeff Bostic (Geneva/Geneva) scored 123 points and pulled down six rebounds. Junior guard Brian Joe (Southside/Elmira) finished with 10 points and six rebounds. The Bombers closed the first half on a 31-10 run to take a 56-25 lead into intermission.

Sophomore forward Terrell Armstead (MArtin Van Buren/Far Rockaway) and freshman forward Garnell Vaughn (Fowler/Syracuse) each scored 10 points for Morrisville. Armstead and junior guard Dodrick Spencer (William E. Grady/Brooklyn) collected six rebounds each.
