MADISON, NJ — The College at Florham Devils started the game on an 18-0 run on their way to a 73-12 victory over Cedar Crest in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.

With the win, the Devils improved to 2-7.

Senior guard Jessie Chalmers (Middletown, NJ/Middletown North) and sophomore Emily Cerankowski (Easton, PA/Notre Dame) each had six points during the opening spurt as the Devils took a 44-4 halftime lead.

Freshman forward Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) had a game and career-high 13 points while adding seven rebounds. Freshman forward Maureen Kehoe (Oradell, NJ/River Dell) had 12 points, six assists and five rebounds while Cerankowski and freshman center Shannon Smith (Verona, NJ/Verona) each had 10 points.

The Devils return to action on Friday, January 5, 2007 at home in the First Round of the Keeler Memorial Tournament against Eastern beginning at 7 pm.
