Kraft scored 14 points in the first as the Rangers took a 37-31 lead into the break. The game went back-and-forth for most of the opening period with each team building leads as large as six.
In the first two minutes of the second half, Lycoming scratched back into the game and took a 38-37 lead on a Leid jumper. Following that hoop, the Rangers would score the next 16 points over the course of five minutes with baskets from six different players. With the lead built, the Rangers slowly pulled away even further going up by as many as 22 with three minutes remaining.
Kraft scored 19 while grabbing six rebounds. Cunningham had her third double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 boards while adding five assists. Stephanie Leondis was the inside presence with 14 points and nine rebounds. JaQuelia Conley had her second straight strong game off the bench with nine points. In fact the Ranger bench as a whole outscored Lyco’s 21-11 in the game. The Rangers had 21 second chance points to the Warriors eight. On defense, Drew did a good job stopping the Warriors main threat in Andrea Cooper, holding her to just eight points.
With the win Drew improves to 5-1 and 2-0 in the Freedom Conference. Lycoming falls to 2-4, 0-2 in the Conference.
