Arcadia would use a 13-2 run early in the first half to take a 17-7 lead. Ashley Heakins had six points during the spurt to lead the Knights, including a field goal with 9:34 left in the half that gave them their 10-point lead.
Wilkes would chip away at the lead before taking their first advantage since early in the contest, 26-25, on a lay-up by Kelly Patchell with 47 seconds remaining in the stanza. After Rachael Dauscher put the Knights back on top with two free throws, Khadija Bates gave the Lady Colonels a 28-27 halftime lead with two free throws with six seconds left in the period.
Katie Lynch, Stephanie Bates and Caitlin Spark scored two points each during an opening 6-0 spurt to the second half that gave Arcadia 33-28 lead. The Knights built their biggest lead of the half 41-34, on a pair of free throws by Spark with 14:22 left.
However, Wilkes would battle back with seven unanswered points to tie the game at 41-41 on a bucket by Karyn Perestam with 12:21 showing on the clock. After two more ties and three lead changes Wilkes finally took the lead for good on a Perestam basket with 9:16 left that gave the Lady Colonels a 49-47 edge.
Clinging to a 54-53 lead with less than seven minutes left, Wilkes put together a 10-0 run that sealed the win. Kelly Patchell had four points during the outburst, including a field goal with 2:56 left that put the Lady Colonels on top 64-53.
Perestam, who had five rebounds, and Corbo, who had four assists, cashed in 14 points apiece to lead Wilkes. Katie Cappelloni finished with nine points, while Lacey Andresen pulled down eight rebounds.
Heakins popped in a game-high 16 points to lead three Arcadia players in double-figures. Sparks had 14 tallies for the Knights, while Lynch contributed 10 points and 11 rebounds.
