Sathula was 6 of 10 from the field and six of her 11 boards were on the offensive end. Hamilton (14-5 overall) ended up with 16 offensive rebounds and held a 49-39 advantage overall. Sathula has seven double-doubles this season and 18 for her career.
The Continentals have won five straight games for the second time this season. Jess Barrows '08 chipped in 10 points and Sydney Fasulo '09 added seven points and 10 rebounds. Hamilton's bench finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Kara Labs '09 handed out a game-high three assists off the bench.
Stefanie Alger '07 paced Albany Pharmacy with eight points. Karrah Madden '10 grabbed 10 rebounds. Madden had seven of the Panthers' 18 offensive boards. Albany Pharmacy (13-3) had its eight-game win streak snapped.
The Continentals led by just one point at 11-10 midway through the first half. Hamilton then went on a 12-1 run for a 23-11 advantage and scored the final 10 points of the half to take a 35-15 cushion into the break. The Continentals scored the first six points of the second half on three-pointers by Barrows and Sathula. Hamilton's lead was never less than 20 points the rest of the contest.
The Panthers shot just 17.5 percent (10-57) from the floor, including 1 of 16 from three-point range. The Continentals shot 39 percent (23-59) from the field. Hamilton travels to St. Lawrence University for a Liberty League game on Friday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m.
