UW-L never trailed in the game, opening the contest on a 17-4 run. MSOE cut the lead to 32-22, but UW-L finished the half on a 12-0 run. The Raiders could get no closer than 25 in the second half.
Nicole Palmer led UW-L with 19 points, hitting six-of-nine field goals, including four-of-six from three-point range. She also hit all three free throw attempts. Katy Searing added 11 points and seven rebounds while also finishing with three assists and three steals.
UW-L, ranked 23rd on D3hoops.com, shot 48.5% from the field, including 62.1% (18-of-29) in the first half. The Eagles were six-of-15 (40.0%) from three-point range and made all nine of their free throw attempts.
Dana Guthrie led MSOE with 10 points. The Raiders shot 24.5% from the field, incluidng 20.7% (six-of-29) in the second half. MSOE was one-of-nine (11.1%) from three-point range and 12-of-15 (80.0%) at the line.
UW-L returns to action Sunday, November 26 hosting Simpson College (Iowa) at 3 p.m.
