SUNYIT 71, Buffalo State 68SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The Flying Dutch needed a late rally to overcome the host Belles. Trailing 60-59 with seven minutes left, Hope outscored Saint Mary's 13-3 over the next five minutes. Seven-for-eight free throw shooting in the final two minutes sealed the victory.
Senior Ellen Wood had a double-double scoring 20 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. She was one of five Hope players to scored in double figures. Jordyn Boles and Sarah Jurik each scored 15 points while Philana Greene added 11 and Lindsay Lange 10. Hope shot 51% in the game, including 5-for-9 on three-pointers.
