Babcock holds a place in the MIAA record book after sinking 10 shots from behind the arc. Her 34 points matched the third-highest single-game scoring total at Albion. She knocked down 12-15 shots from the field, including 10-of-12 from 3-point range.
Aemisegger made 5-of-6 shots from 3-point range to finish with a career-high 17 points.
Albion put on a shooting clinic in the first half, scoring on 18-of-29 attempts from the field. The Britons scored on their first five possessions, and held a 22-12 lead when Babcock made her sixth consecutive shot six minutes into the contest. Albion extended the lead to 35-16 on Katie Elder’s layup with 8:42 left before halftime. Albion led 45-23 at intermission.
Albion made 14-of-26 field goal attempts in the second half to keep Tri-State from climbing back into the game. Claire Will led the Thunder with 18 points, and Sarah Howe finished with 10.
Albion finishes the regular season with three road games, starting with a Wednesday night road trip to Kalamazoo College.
