Waligorski finished with a team-high 12 points in 14 minutes off the bench for the Lions (16-7 overall, 9-3 Commonwealth), who snapped a two-game losing streak and clinched the second seed for the upcoming Commonwealth Conference playoffs.
Jen Clark led the Crusaders (13-10 overall, 4-8 Commonwealth) with a game-high 17 points and seven rebounds, but Susquehanna shot just 24.5 percent (13-for-53) from the field and 4-for-26 from three-point range in the contest.
Albright never trailed in the opening half, and took a 19-13 lead to halftime as both teams shot less than 25 percent from the field in the half. Annie McMahon and Natalie Bizzarro paced the Lions with six points in the opening 20 minutes while Clark led the Crusaders with seven points and seven rebounds.
Susquehanna took its first lead of the game at 24-23 on a three-pointer by Val Houseal with 14:13 left, but the Lions restored their six-point advantage following a McMahon layup with 8:19 to play that gave Albright a 35-29 lead.
The Crusaders used an 8-2 to run to regain the lead, as Sarah Jane Kalejta hit a three pointer and Clark added two foul shots and two layups, the latter giving Susquehanna a 38-37 lead with 5:27 to go.
Albright regained a 43-41 lead with two minutes to go on two foul shots by McMahon, but Ruth Williamson knotted the game at 43-43 with two free throws with 1:26 left. Following Waligorski's go-ahead layup, the Crusaders turned the ball over and Bizzarro hit two free throws with nine seconds left to set the final score.
Bizzarro finished with eight points, four rebounds and four assists for the Lions while Jaqueline Hardwick tallied seven points and six boards, as Albright shot 32.1 percent (17-for-53) from the field in the contest. McMahon joined Waligorski in double figures for Albright with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Nikki Smith finished with six points and a game-high eight rebounds for Susquehanna, which finished with a 42-38 edge on the glass over the Lions.
