The Flying Dutch struggled offensively in the early-going, leading just 14-11 ten minutes into the contest. At one point Hope was shooting only 19%. Hope's bench got the team on track in pulling the Dutch to a 41-23 halftime advantage. Hope's starters scored just 14 of those 41 points.
Hope steadily built upon that lead in the second half taking advantage of 25 Adrian turnovers, including 15 steals led by Philana Green's season-best six thefts. In the end the bench scored 54 of Hope's points as all 14 players got into the scorebook. Freshman Emily O'Hare scored a team-best 12 points while junior Lindsay Lange added 11. Adrian did not have a player score in double figures. Hope held a 61-45 rebound advantage led by Ellen Wood with eight.
