SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Erin Walton hit a short jumper as time expired to lift Elizabethtown College to a 60-59 overtime victory over Susquehanna University in Commonwealth Conference women's basketball action at O.W. Houts Gymnasium on Tuesday night.

Walton, who finished with a team-high 17 points, scored all 12 of the Blue Jays' points in overtime and tallied the last 15 points for Elizabethtown (10-8 overall, 3-6 Commonwealth) after scoring just two points in the first 39 minutes of the contest.

The Crusaders took a 59-58 lead on a three-pointer from the corner by Sarah Jane Kalejta with 4.6 seconds remaining in overtime, but the Blue Jays inbounded the ball quickly and moved downcourt, with Walton spinning inside and taking a shot that hit the rim and fell through the net as time expired.

Walton had forced overtime by hitting a three-pointer from the top of the key with 35 seconds left in regulation after the Crusaders had erased a 10-point deficit to take a 48-45 lead on a layup by Ruth Williamson with one minute left.
