BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Kelly Applegate led four Moravian College players in double figures with a game-high 19 points and added nine rebounds as the Greyhounds defeated Susquehanna University 76-62 in Commonwealth Conference women's basketball action at Johnston Hall on Saturday afternoon.

Jessica Foran, Amanda Brown and Kirsty Stearns added 14 points apiece for Moravian (11-10 overall, 5-5 Commonwealth), which snapped a four-game losing streak by connecting on 20-of-22 from the foul line in the contest, including 19 straight in the second half.

Susquehanna held its largest lead of the game at 26-19 with 3:37 left in the first half on a basket by Bri McNallen, but Brown hit three straight three-pointers to spark a 14-0 Moravian run that was capped by another three-pointer by Brown that gave the Greyhounds a 33-26 lead with 1:03 left in the half.

Moravian led 33-28 at intermission behind 12 points by Brown, while the Crusaders were paced by six points apiece from McNallen and Williamson.

The Greyhounds led 42-29 with 15:41 left following two foul shots by Jenny Hackleman, but Susquehanna scored seven straight points to pull within 42-36 on a three-pointer by Houseal with 14:09 remaining.
