Elizabethtown controlled much of the first half and carried a 45-36 lead into halftime. Immaculata began the second half with a 20-7 run over the first 8:24 to take the lead. Etown shot 50% (18-for-36) from the field in the first half, but the Blue Jays shot just 23.5% (8-for-34) from the field in the second half. Immaculata, by contrast, was able to shoot 57.6% (19-for-33) from the field in the second half after shooting 40.6% (13-for-32) in the first.
Erin Walton (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington Co.) led Elizabethtown in scoring with 21 points, 17 of which came during the first half. Audrey Hitz (Lebanon, PA/Annville-Cleona) led the Blue Jays in rebounds with 15, a career best for her, and she scored 10 points. Megan Quinn (Millersville, PA/Penn Manor) scored 12 points from off the bench for Etown, and Amanda Reid (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) pulled down 11 rebounds for the Blue Jays.
Mary Kate Pawlowski (Exton, PA/Downingtown) led Immaculata in scoring with 19 points, and she grabbed nine rebounds. Meg Legere (Lancaster, PA/Lancaster Catholic) added 14 points and eight rebounds for the Mighty Macs, and Jess Dantzler-Henry (Alexandria, VA/T.C. Williams) scored 13 points, pulled down seven rebounds, and tied for the Immaculata lead in assists with seven. Kasey Hicks (Harrisburg, PA/Bishop McDevitt) had seven assists as well. Nina Cammarano (Reading, PA/Holy Name) scored 12 points for Immaculata, and Dominique Murray (Wilmington, DE/Padua Academy) led Immaculata in rebounds with 13 and blocked shots with four while scoring nine points.
Elizabethtown will return to action on the road Sunday, November 26 at Lycoming College in a 3:00 p.m. game.
