IMMACULATA, PA — Sophomore Dan Lepone's field goal with 0:26 remaining in the second half broke a 65-65 tie and propelled Immaculata University to a 69-65 victory over College Misericordia Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Monday, January 15, in Immaculata, PA.

Sophomore Kyle Finklea led all scorers with 25 points, including eight consecutive points down the stretch. Lepone recorded 14 points, including the game-winner, while freshman Scott Marston amassed 11 points, five rebounds and three steals. Finklea also pulled down nine rebounds and registered a career-high three blocks.

Trailing 22-21 with 7:43 left in the first half, the Mighty Macs (2-10, 2-3 PAC) went on a 15-6 run to take a 36-28 lead into intermission. Immaculata never trailed again. The Cougars (5-9, 3-4 PAC) tied the game twice in the second half, including a 9-3 run which tied the game at 65-65 with 0:26 left. But Lepone's jumper from the left wing secured the Mighty Macs' second win of the season.

Tony Razykowski paced Misericordia with 15 points, while Marcus Little added 13 points.
