Sophomore Kyle Finklea led all scorers with 25 points, including eight consecutive points down the stretch. Lepone recorded 14 points, including the game-winner, while freshman Scott Marston amassed 11 points, five rebounds and three steals. Finklea also pulled down nine rebounds and registered a career-high three blocks.
Trailing 22-21 with 7:43 left in the first half, the Mighty Macs (2-10, 2-3 PAC) went on a 15-6 run to take a 36-28 lead into intermission. Immaculata never trailed again. The Cougars (5-9, 3-4 PAC) tied the game twice in the second half, including a 9-3 run which tied the game at 65-65 with 0:26 left. But Lepone's jumper from the left wing secured the Mighty Macs' second win of the season.
Tony Razykowski paced Misericordia with 15 points, while Marcus Little added 13 points.
