Clark scored 15 points in the second half as the Crusaders (13-6 overall, 4-4 Commonwealth) took control with a 13-0 run midway through the second half.
Kelley Guarrera led the Pride (7-12 overall, 1-7 Commonwealth) with 13 points and six rebounds off the bench, but Widener shot 35.2 percent (19-for-54) from the field and committed 23 turnovers in dropping their fourth consecutive game.
Leading 30-28 with 13:14 remaining, the Crusaders reeled off the next 13 points, capped by consecutive three-pointers by Meg Loughran, Nikki Smith and Loughran again to take a 43-28 lead with 10:33 to go. Widener pulled within six points several times in the final six minutes, but the Crusaders closed the game by going 8-for-12 from the foul line in the last two minutes.
Loughran tied her season and career high with eight points in 15 minutes off the bench for the Crusaders, while Smith added six rebounds to go with four points.
Susquehanna got off to a sluggish start, hitting just one field goal in the first 10 minutes and trailing by as many as six points before tying the game at 12-12 on a three-pointer by Ruth Williamson with 7:51 left in the first half.
The Crusaders led by as many as six points in the first half before going to halftime with a 24-20 lead, despite shooting just 29.6 percent (8-for-27) from the field in the half.
Clark led the Crusaders in the second half by going 3-for-5 from the field and 9-for-10 from the foul line, as Susquehanna shot 47.8 percent (11-for-23) from the field in the second half to finish at 38.0 percent (19-for-50) for the game.
Also keying a balanced Susquehanna attack were Courtney Thibeault, who tallied seven points and six rebounds, and Sarah Jane Kalejta, who finished with seven points and three boards.
Joining Guarrera in double figures for the Pride was Rayne Reber, who tallied 10 points, while Barbara Fleming and Beth Dessart Mager added eight points apiece. Fleming also tied for the team high in rebounds with six and dished out a game-high four assists.
