READING, Pa. — Albright got 16 points from sophomore Annie McMahon and held Immaculata to 24% shooting in the game to take a 66-40 non-conference win over the Mighty Macs Saturday afternoon in the Bollman Center. The win pushes Albright's record to 5-3, while the Macs fall to 4-5.

The Lady Lions played stifling defense in the opening half, holding Immaculata to a 7-38 effort from the floor. Albright had its own offensive issues in the early going, however, and led by just four points, 14-10, midway through the half. A three from McMahon, the first of her three on the day, sparked a 9-1 Albright run that put the Lady Lion lead in double figures at 23-11. The Macs would not get the deficit back to single digits, but trailed by just 10, 27-17, after a Dominique Murray lay up with three minutes left in the half. The Lady Lions would finish the half strong, however, getting a three from Mallory Olsheski and buckets from McMahon and Natalie Bizzarro right before the half to lead by 17, 34-17, at intermission.

Albright outscored the Macs 16-4 over the first five and a half minutes of the second half to put the game out of reach. McMahon had a pair of three's in the run, while Bizzarro and Staci Waligorski each added four points. The 31-point lead, 52-21, would be the largest of the day for the Lady Lions, but Immaculata would get no closer than 23 the rest of the day.

All 10 Lady Lions got into the scoring column, led by McMahon's 16. Olsheski and Jackie Hardwick each had 11 points, with Olsheski also pulling down a team-leading nine rebounds. Albright had a season-high nine blocked shots in the game, with Olsheski blocking five. Bizzarro had a game-high five assists to go along with seven points. Murray and Meg Legere each had 13 points to lead Albright.
