IMMACULATA, PA — Immaculata University women's basketball team fell to Gwynedd-Mercy College 60-47, in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Thursday, December 7, in Alumnae Hall.



Sophomore Dominique Murray recorded a team-high 18 points, while freshman Remi Adebule collected 13 points and a career-high 11 rebounds. Junior Nina Cammarano and senior Meg Legere posted five points each, while sophomore Kasey Hicks totaled five assists.



Trailing 28-21 at the half, the Mighty Macs used a 14-6 run to take a 35-34 lead with 12:24 left in the second half. But the Griffins (5-1, 3-0 PAC) used a 18-6 run to grab a 52-41 lead with 4:20 remaining and held on for the 60-47 win.



Ashley Vandiver led Gwynedd-Mercy with 22 points and nine rebounds, while Karen Tierney amassed 12 points, four assists and three steals.



Immaculata (4-4, 2-2 PAC) returns to action on Saturday, December 9, when they face Albright College. Tip-off is set for 1 pm.
