IMMACULATA, PA — Immaculata University defeated Wesley College 74-65, in a key Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) battle on Monday, February 5, in Alumnae Hall.

Freshman Jayson Hyman collected a double-double with 19 points and a career-high 10 rebounds, while fellow freshman Scott Marston totaled 14 points and six rebounds. Senior Kris Behm amassed nine points, three assists, two steals, and one block, and was a perfect 2-2 from the field and 2-2 from beyond the arc. Sophomore Julius Lopez registered 12 points, while Dan Lepone added eight points off the bench.

"It was great to have different players step up each game and today was Kris," said head coach Jamie Chadwin. "We have had pretty balance scoring over the past few games."

Immaculata has won seven of its last nine games.

The Mighty Macs (9-12, 9-5 PAC) started out strong once again as they posted a 36-22 lead with 3:26 left in the opening half. They held on for a 39-30 halftime margin.

The Wolverines (9-13, 7-8 PAC) scored the first basket of the second half, but Immaculata used a 14-7 run to grab a 53-39 lead with 13:59 remaining in the second half. The Mighty Macs pushed their lead to a 17-point advantage, 60-43, the largest of the game, at 11:43 of the second half. Wesley was able to cut it nine, 75-65, at the buzzer.

Rashawn Johnson paced the Wolverines with a game-high 22 points.
