DOVER, De. — Wesley College (5-7, 3-2) defeated conference opponent Marywood University (4-7, 2-3) by a final score of 80-77 in overtime, at Jim and Shirley Wentworth Gymnasium, in men's basketball action on Thursday night. Wesley was led by four players in double-figures with Rashawn Johnson (SO, Milton, DE/Sussex Tech) and Cody White (SO, Milton, DE/Sussex Tech) both putting up double-doubles on the night. Johnson led Wesley with 19 points and also grabbed 13 rebounds, while White added 15 points and pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds. Joe Ransom (FR, Sheffield, England/Wilbraham and Monson Academy) added 14 points after going 3-of-6 from 3-point range and also added 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Evan Martin (SO, Wilmington, DE/Laurinburg) posted 11 points in the Wesley win.
Marywood shot 30-of-58 (51.7%) from the field for the game, while Wesley shot only 30-of-84 (35.7%). The Pacers forced Wesley into 13 second half turnovers after Wesley held a 45-39 halftime advantage. The Wolverines held a 52-40 advantage in rebounds.
The Pacers were led by Adam Wildasin (SR, Hanover, PA/Delone Catholic) who posted a game-high 29 points on 11-of-17 shooting. Prince Blacknall (JR, Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) added 16 points and Matt Johnson (SR, Wilton, NY/Saratoga Springs) had 13 points for Marywood.
