PHOENIX, Ariz. — Dennis Santiago scored a career-high 26 points and added six rebounds today (Saturday, December 30, 2006) as Baldwin-Wallace College defeated Ramapo (N.J.) College,72-60, in the consolation game at the annual Cactus Jam Classic men's basketball tournament in Phoenix, Arizona.

With its win, B-W is now 8-3 overall. Ramapo is now 9-3 overall.

In addition to Santiago, senior forward Chad Clark had 12 points and three rebounds for the Yellow Jackets. Junior guard Brendon Schuler added nine points and 12 rebounds for the Yellow Jackets. Ramapo was led by Omar Alston with 23 points and 15 rebounds.

With his nine points today, Davis now has 1,855 career points and is fifth on the all-time Yellow Jacket scoring list. Today, he closed in on both the No.4 all-time scorer Sean McCormick (1999-2003), who had 1,865 points, and the No.3 scorer Kevin Braaten (1993-97), who had 1,867 points. Second on the all-time scoring list is Tori's older brother Thad Davis (2001-2005), who stands at 1,921 career points. In addition, Davis now also has 808 career rebounds to rank ninth all-time and has a school career-record 205 blocked shots.

The Yellow Jacket men resume rugged Ohio Athletic Conference play next Wednesday, January 3, 2007 when they travel to University Heights, Ohio to play OAC and Greater Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University at 7:30 p.m. in the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center.
