The Dolphins jumped out to a 9-3 lead in the first four minutes, but the Blue Jays responded with a 13-0 run that gave them a 16-9 lead. Davis and Dodrill capped the run with back-to-back layups midway through the first half.
After the Dolphins cut the deficit to 16-11 on a layup by Nicole Estrada, the Blue Jays responded with a 20-6 run that put the game away. Davis scored eight of her 13 points to fuel the spree, which also included back-to-back layups by Dodrill.
In addition to Davis and Dodrill\'s efforts, the Blue Jays got six points and 12 rebounds from both sophomore Jessica Rice and freshman Monica Mitchell. Senior Julie Miller added 10 rebounds for the Blue Jays, who tied a school record with 76 rebounds in the win. JHU held a 76-30 rebounding margin.
Estrada scored a game-high 20 points and Melanie D\'Ambrosi added 10 points and seven rebounds, but the rebounding deficit was too much to overcome for the Dolphins, who surrendered 38 offensive rebounds to the Blue Jays.
