Schreiner 70, Hardin-Simmons 66

Bronx, NY — Senior guard Kareem Hanley (Canarsie/Brooklyn, NY) scored a team high 16 points as NYC College of Technology defeated Lehman College 62-57 in CUNY men's action at the APEX Arena.

City Tech (5-15 overall, 4-6 CUNY) had four players in double figures, including sophomore Ryan Phillip (Nazareth/Brooklyn, NY)who finished with 13 points and 15 rebounds as well as junior guard Omar Mahoney finished with 13 points, and senior Otis Saylee finished with 12 points for the Yellow Jackets.

Lehman (6-14 overall/3-6 CUNY) was led by the play of backcourt mates Kyle Lockett (Hamilton/White Plains, NY) who finished with 21 points, and sophomore Duane Rhoden (Clinton/Bronx, NY) added 20 points in the loss. The Lightning shot 29.6% from the field.

Up next for Lehman is a conference road game against the College of Staten Island, on Wednesday at 7:30, and the Yellow Jackets will take on New Jersey City University in a road contest, this coming Monday at 7pm.
