Oneonta State 81, Castleton State 77

Patchogue, N.Y. — Five players in double figures helped Farmingdale State remain undefeated in the conference with an 81-64 victory over St. Joseph's (7-6, 3-3). After a Rams women's basketball win in the first game, the men's team completed the sweep to improve to 10-3, 6-0 in the Skyline.

Farmingdale held a 46-30 lead at the half after shooting 62-percent from long range and continued their sharp shooting in the second for a final 52-percent field goal percentage.

Sophomore guard Damien Santana (Brooklyn, NY/Grady) led the team in scoring for the fourth game in a row with 13 points, while sophomore forward Davon Jackson (New York, NY/Rice) was a perfect 5-for-5 from the field with two three pointers to total 12 points. Junior forward Brian Robinson (White Plains, NY/White Plains) and junior guard Rich Riss (Tarrytown, NY/Archbishop Stepinac) both contributed 11 points. Robinson also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds. Senior guard Terry Menefee (Montgomery, AL/Shawnee Mission North, KS) was the fifth player in double digits with 10 points.

St. Joseph's sophomore forward Chris Niblock (Bayport, NY/Bayport-Bluepoint) posted a game-high 18 points. Sophomore guard David Acree (Brentwood, NY/Brentwood) and senior guard Jorge Martinez (Brentwood, NY/Brentwood) both finished the night with 15 points.

The Rams will travel to Purchase, NY on Saturday, January 20th to face Manhattanville College in a Skyline Conference game at 2:00pm.
