UW-Oshkosh led by as many as eight in the first half, including 24-16 with 7:03 left. UW-L then went on a 13-2 run to finish the first half to take a 29-26 halftime lead.
Whitney Tyriver scored on the first basket of the second half for UW-Oshkosh to cut the lead to 29-28, but UW-L never led by fewer than three points in the rest of the game. The Eagles went on a 10-2 run to lead 39-30 with 10:09 remaining. The Titans cut the lead to 39-36 with 7:44 left, but the Eagles scored 11 of the next 15 points to lead 50-40 with 3:59 remaining and UW-Oshkosh could get no closer than three in the last four minutes of the contest.
Nicole Palmer led UW-L with 16 points, hitting eight-of-12 free throws. Katy Searing recorded her fourth double-double of the year with 15 points and 12 rebounds. The Eagles shot 42.6% from the field, including 66.7% (two-of-three) from three-point range. The team was 15-of-20 (75.0%) at the free throw line.
Tyriver led UW-Oshkosh with 21 points, hitting nine-of-22 field goals, including three-of-six from three-point range. Becky Knapp finished with 18 points. UW-Oshkosh shot 34.5% from the field, including 40.0% (four-of-10) from three-point range. The Titans were seven-of-nine (77.8%) at the line.
UW-L returns to action Saturday, February 3 hosting UW-Stevens Point at 5 p.m. in the Eagles' regular-season home finale.
