Mount St. Mary 75, Polytechnic 64ALMA, Mich. — The Flying Dutch got back on the winning track Wednesday routing Alma 69-46. Coach Brian Morehouse's nationally ranked Flying Dutch improved to 15-1 overall and are 7-1 midway through the conference season.
Leading 27-22 at halftime, the Flying Dutch outscored the host Scots 12-2 over the first eight minutes of the second half. Hope's defense limited Alma to just 26% shooting, including 1-for-12 from three-point range. Hope held a 50-31 advantage in rebounds led by Philana Greene with eight and Julie Henderson and Ellen Wood six apiece. Jordyn Boles led the Dutch in scoring with 16 points.
