Baldwin-Wallace 60, Muskingum 46

RIVERDALE, N.Y. — Sophomore guard Dani Dudek (Rockaway, N.J.) tallied a game-high 20 points on 6-for-9 shooting from the floor in leading the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s basketball team to its fourth win in a row as the Ducks posted a 59-51 victory over the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Tuesday evening in Riverdale, N.Y. Dudek added eight rebounds and five assists as Stevens improved to 13-3 (6-1 Skyline Conference) on the year.

Junior forward Dora Enright (Longmont, Colo.) finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds for the Ducks. Freshman guard Brittany Fuller (East Rockaway, N.Y.) chipped in with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Mount Saint Vincent (6-6, 2-4 Skyline) was led by freshman forward Karissa Koerner (Bay Shore, N.Y.), who had 16 points in the contest. Freshman guard Lauren Percodani (Staten Island, N.Y.) contributed 13 points and five assists. Junior forward Kaitlin Burud (Red Hook, N.Y.) added 10 points, four assists and four steals as the Dolphins suffered their fifth loss in the last six games.

Tied at 20-all at the half, Stevens scored the first seven points after intermission to take a 27-20 lead with 16:30 to go in the game. Dudek scored four points in the run. The Ducks extended their margin to 34-24 with 14:33 to play in the period as junior guard Jean Matusiak (Queens, N.Y.) knocked down a jumper.

The Dolphins worked their way back into the game and closed to within three points (39-36) on a pair of free throws by Percodani with 9:11 to play. Leading 46-42 with just over six minutes to go, Stevens put the game away with an 8-1 run over the next three minutes. Fuller drilled a jumper and three-pointer at the beginning of the spurt to get the Ducks going. Stevens led 54-43 with 3:08 remaining as Dudek knocked down one of two free throws. She was 8-for-10 at the line in the game.

The Ducks dominated the boards and held a 49-25 rebounding advantage. Stevens also limited Mount Saint Vincent to just 32.7 percent (18-for-55) shooting in the contest.
