Tyriver set a personal scoring best for the third time this season by making 10 of her 14 shots from the field, including one three-point basket, and all six of her free throws. Tyriver's performance also included two assists and one steal.
Tyriver received additional support from Becky Knapp, Arin Lane and Kayla Sharpee. Knapp scored 11 points, grabbed eight rebounds and blocked three shots, while Lane scored four points, snatched a career-best nine rebounds and blocked two shots. Sharpee contributed 11 points, two rebounds and two assists.
UW-Superior (2-3/0-2 WIAC) also owned a double-double performer as Amanda Rounsville totaled 18 points and 10 rebounds. The Yellowjackets also received 16 points and four rebounds from Katie Moench and seven rebounds and one assist from Kaleigh Day.
UW-Oshkosh (4-3/1-1 WIAC), which posted its 45th straight win over UW-Superior, shot 38.3 percent (23-60) from the field. The Titans made 3-of-16 shots (18.8 percent) behind the three-point line and 21-of-29 shots (72.4 percent) from the free-throw stripe.
UW-Superior shot 29.6 percent (16-54) from the field, including just 25.9 percent (7-27) in the first half. The Yellowjackets connected on 2-of-10 shots (20 percent) behind the three-point arc and 14-of-19 tosses (73.7 percent) from the free-throw line.
UW-Oshkosh and UW-Superior played to five ties in the first half, with the latest being a 17-17 deadlock with 9:01 remaining before the break. The Titans went to intermission leading 29-23 after ending the opening period with a 12-6 scoring run. Tyriver tallied 11 points and five rebounds to lead UW-Oshkosh's efforts in the first half.
UW-Superior inched to within 33-28 on a three-pointer by Moench with 15:39 left in the game, but UW-Oshkosh responded by going on a 37-20 scoring run for the remainder of the contest. Tyriver scored 14 points during the Titans' game-ending scoring spree.
UW-Oshkosh conquered the rebounding battle, 43-41, and the turnover count, 13-22.
