ALMA, Mich. — The Flying Dutchmen clinched an outright MIAA championship Wednesday defeating host Alma 88-62. The win was the 20th of the season for coach Glenn Van Wieren's nationally ranked Flying Dutchmen. Hope will carry a 12-1 league record into their regular season finale at Tri-State on Saturday.

Hope never trailed in the game gaining a 45-29 halftime lead behind 61% shooting. The Flying Dutchmen finished the game with a 56% shooting clip behind 10 three-point baskets and 20-for-24 free throw shooting.

Junior Tyler Wolfe scored a career-high 23 points off the bench. He was a perfect 5-for-5 on field goals, including 4-for-4 on three pointers, and made 6-of-6 free throws. He was one of five players scoring in double figures. Stephen Cramer finished with 15 points while Jesse Remink, Marcus Vanderheide and Ryan Klein each had 10.
