The Falcons, who probably should have won that first meeting, didn't let that happen this time on their own court as River Falls never let Stout back into the game, snapping Stout's winning streak at nine with a 79-68 setback.
The 10th ranked Blue Devils (17-4, 10-2) were never seriously in this game. After River Falls (13-8, 7-5) took a double digit lead with six minutes remaining in the first period, Stout only teased by getting as close as eight points a couple of times the rest of the way.
As she did in the first game, post player Traci Reimann controlled much of the inside game, scoring a game-high 18 points and pulling down nine rebounds, along with five assists and two blocked shots. Melanie Preiner added 15 points for the Falcons, and Kim Sorenson and Chantele Melgaard each dropped in 11 points.
Savanah Oeltjen scored 18 points to match Reimann. Kelsey Duoss added 17 points and Julia Hirssig had 11 points. River Falls held a 35-24 halftime lead as Stout shot only 30.4 percent, while the Falcons shot at a 52.2 percent clip.
