LUBBOCK, Tx. — LUBBOCK, Tx.- Three Lobos put up double figures in an 87-68 non conference loss to host Lubbock Christian University on Saturday. The loss drops Sul Ross to 3-4 on the season.

Larry Reese led the effort with 16 points followed by Travis Johnson with 15 and Art Gonzalez with 13. Fili Torres led rebounders with 9 boards.

As a team, the Lobos hit 23 of 49 shots from the field against the Chaps while converting 50 percent from long range or 9 of 18. Sully was 13 of 23 from the free throw line good for 56.5 percent for the game.

The Lobos return to the Gallego Center on January 4 and 6 for conference games with Mississippi College and Louisiana College.
