Leading only 48-43 with 12:51 showing on the clock, Jenny McDermid hit a bucket and Dani Boese hit back-to-back baskets to get the Blue Devils (15-3, 8-1) going on their way to protecting their two game conference lead.
Stout's post players controlled play in the final minutes, but it was the shortest player on the court - Amanda Geissler - who put on a show. Geissler dished off 11 assists, tying the school record currently held by Julie Maki and Molly Hendricks.
The game was tight in the first half half, with both teams holding leads before the break and Stout took a 34-31 lead into the locker room when Joanna Bird tickled the twine with a 3-pointer before the break. Stout carried the momentum into the second half where they shot 59 percent (19-32) and 49 percent (30-61) for the game.
Savanah Oeltjen led Stout with 16 points, while Kelsey Duoss who scored 15 points, became the second leading scorer in school history. Lindsey Geissler chipped in 13 points.
The Pioneers Lisa Grantman and Liz Tesch shared scoring honors with 18 points each. Megan Guernsey added 11 points. The Pioneers shot 36.5 percent for the night (23-63).
