JACKSONVILLE, Ill. — In a game marred by 53 combined turnovers and 43 total fouls, St. Norbert College prevailed 68-52 over Illinois College in a Midwest Conference women's basketball game at Sherman Gymnasium. The Green Knights improved to 8-4 overall and 5-1 in the MWC, while the Lady Blues fell to 3-10, 1-5.

St. Norbert led 34-25 at halftime and maintained a comfortable advantage throughout the second half. The Green Knights led 44-35 with 14:40 left before Tracy Palmer hit 3-pointers on consecutive possessions for a 15-point lead with 12:48 left. Illinois College would get no closer than eight points the rest of the way, trailing 60-52 with 1:52 left to play.

The Green Knights were 21-for-50 (42 percent) from the floor and were 22-for-36 at the free-throw line. Bianca White led St. Norbert with 20 points, while Palmer added 17 points and Morgan Strasser had 15 points. St. Norbert also had a 39-33 rebounding advantage.

Illinois College committed 29 turnovers and shot 32.7 percent (17-for-52) from the floor. Candace Norville led the Lady Blues with 11 points, while Lisa Imel added 10 points.
