IRVING, Texas — The University of Dallas fell to Yeshiva University 46-54 in a defensive battle Saturday night. Possessing a 3-point coming out of the half, UD’s poor shooting from the field (21%) and the high-pressure defense of the Yeshiva University Maccabees proved to be the difference.

Freshman Marc Nickell led the Crusaders on the offensive end with 12 points on 4-6 shooting beyond the arc.

Senior shooting guard led the way for the Maccabees with 15 points.

The Crusaders host the 3-day, 4-team UD Round Robin starting Friday, January 19.
UD’s first game of the tourney is at 8:00pm on Friday against Colorado College.
