BSC had four players in double figures led by junior guard Tom Cuddihy (Scituate, MA) who finished with a team-high 19 points. For the second straight game, sophomore forward Roland Millien (Stoughton, MA) scored 13 points and pulled down 9 rebounds. Also scoring in double figures were senior guard Adam Rose (Harwich, MA) and senior center Derek Thompson (Hyannis, MA). Rose tallied 16 points to go along with 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals, wile Thompson chipped in with 15 points.
The big story of the game was the play of Keene State junior forward Nick Drouin (Weare, NH) who came off the bench to score a career high 30 points while also pulling down an impressive 17 rebounds. Drouin connected on 13 of 20 field goal attempts, and 9 off his game-high 17 rebounds came off the offensive glass.
Keene actually fell behind by as many as 18 points (34-16) at the 4:19 mark of the first half before climbing back into the game. The Owls finished the half with a 19-4 run to cut the deficit to three points (38-35) at the half.
KSC took its first lead of the game (45-42) two and a half minutes into the second half. From there, the Owls used a 12-2 run to go up by 13 (57-44).
Bridgewater got the lead down to four points twice, the last time 66-62 with 4:56 to play. Keene, however, scored the next eight points of the game to build their lead back up to 12 points (74-62) as they never looked back.
