The Quakers led 41-29 at the break, but the Hornets worked back into contention at 65-58 with 8:32 left in the contest. Guilford blew the game open with a 19-3 run over the next four minutes to put the contest out of reach.
Freshman guard Steven Echols scored a team-high 20 points for LC, hitting four three-pointers. Junior guard Kwame Safo added 15 points with five assists, and Danny Reed and Drew Norris each had nine points.
Snipes hit 14 of his 20 shots from the field and nine of 14 three-pointers for Guilford (16-3/10-3 ODAC). Ben Strong had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Eric Belkoski had 14 points. The Quakers shot 58.8 percent (20-34) from the floor in the second half.
Lynchburg (6-15/3-11 ODAC) hosts Roanoke College next Saturday at 3 p.m. for Senior Day.
