Delaware Valley 67, Salisbury 65

RICHARDSON, TX — The Mississippi College Choctaws (21-2, 18-1 ASC) found themselves in unfamiliar territory Thursday night down 64-66 at UT-Dallas (17-7, 12-7 ASC) with just over two minutes remaining. Senior Ryan Hudson scored four of the Choctaws' final six points to seal an important 70-67 road win.

Hudson hit a jumper in the lane to tie the score at 66-66 and later hit two free throws with 12 seconds remaining for the final 70-67 margin. Hudson finished with a game high 18 points hitting all six of his field goal attempts and all six free throw attempts.

Marcus Evans hit 4-5 of his field goal attempts and all seven of his free throws to finish with 15 points. Timothy Broomfield scored 13 points and grabbed a game high nine rebounds.

UTD was led by Martin Salinas who hit 4-10 three point attempts to score 15 points. Travis Carruthers finished with 14 points and dished out a game high seven assists. Brandon Greene and Jordan Eppink scored 13 points and eleven points, respectively.

The Choctaws lead the nation in field goal percentage and hit on 53 percent of their shots Thursday. MC also leads the nation in scoring defense allowing just over 62 points per game.
