The Choctaws jumped out to a quick 18-4 lead but Ozarks battled back to trail 35-31 with 4:05 left in the first half before entering halftime 45-36.
The Choctaws controlled the second half leading by as many as 30 points and emptied the benches in the final five minutes.
D. J. Jones led all scorers with 20 points on 8-11 shooting. Ryan Hudson was 6-8 from the floor to finish with 15 points and four rebounds. Timothy Broomfield recorded a double double with eleven points and 12 rebounds. Marcus Evans scored ten points.
Ozarks was led by Habeen Kareem's 17 points and five rebounds. Kareem was 5-14 from the field and 7-11 from the free throw line. Chris Williams added 14 points and six rebounds. Tony Daniels scored 13 points.
The Choctaws shot 58 percent from the field and held a 40-30 rebounding advantage. Ozarks was 18-56 from the floor for 32 percent.
