Riesbeck was joined in double digits by Amanda Hiltunen and Salem Shaffer who both had 12 points in the win as the Yellow Jackets improve their record to 7-3 overall and 4-2 in ODAC play.
R-MC jumped out to a 22-8 lead half-way through the opening stanza when Nicole Childress scored two of her seven points on the night.
With the score 27-16 with 8:06 left in the first-half, the Yellow Jackets went on a 19-5 run over the next seven and a half minutes and took a 48-24 lead into the locker room at half-time.
R-MC extended its lead to as many 42 in the second-half as it out scored E&H 23-5 in the first 12:11 of the second frame.
The R-MC defense stifled the Wasps, holding E&H (5-5 / 1-4 ODAC) to just 15-of-56 (28.6 percent) shooting from the floor on the afternoon. The Yellow Jackets forced 30 E&H turnovers and did not allow a single Wasp to score in double-figures as R-MC racked up its fourth win in its last five games.
Ten different Yellow Jackets scored in the win as they converted on 50.8 (30-of-59) percent of their shots on the afternoon. R-MC connected on six-of-11 (54.5%) shots from beyond the arc and 11-of-15 (73.3 %) attempts at the charity stripe.
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on Tuesday night when they welcome Randolph-Macon Woman’s College to Crenshaw Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m.
