Shannon Scales, who scored her 1,000th career point in the game and also became the program’s all-time leader in 3-point field goals made, led the Eagles with 19 points. Katy Herr Lovell finished with 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds and Amy Childs added 10 points and five steals.
Mariah Neville led the Quakers with 11 points while Alexa Williams and Joclyn Terry added 10 points each.
The Eagles led 12-10 with 14:39 left in the first half before scoring 23 unanswered points to take a 35-10 lead. Childs scored six points and Scales added five during BC’s decisive run.
The Quakers did close the half with a 6-0 run to trim the deficit to 15 points at the half. Neville hit two foul shots and a short jumper and Williams added a baseline jumper to make the halftime score 42-27.
The Eagles opened the second with with an 11-0 run to push the lead back above the 20-point mark. Lovell hit two free throws and Scales added a pair of jumpers for a 48-27 lead. Tori Ruckman hit a 10-footer and Jessica Young capped the spurt with a 3-pointer, making the score 53-27 with 17:46 left in the game.
The Eagles led by as many as 30 points and the Quakers never got closer than 20 the rest of the game.
The Eagles improved to 11-2 overall and 8-1 in the ODAC while the Quakers dropped to 7-8 overall and 6-4 in conference play.
