MOORHEAD, Minn. — Jon Bain had 12 points and 13 rebounds and Mark Torell 10 points off the bench to lead St. Olaf to a 63-56 men's basketball win over Concordia College-Moorhead on Wednesday night.

Torell hit a three-pointer, leaning jump shot and added a key assist to Bain in the final three-plus minutes.

The Oles (8-10, 5-8 MIAC) used a 9-0 run late in the second half to gain a six-point lead, and closed the game making six straight free throws.

St. Olaf, which snapped a three-game losing skid and completed a season sweep of the Cobbers, was 16-for-18 from the line in the game.

Concordia (3-15, 3-10 MIAC) was led by Luke Linz' 18 points. The Cobbers overcame a 30-20 first half St. Olaf lead and tied the game at 33-33 early in the second.

Concordia gained a pair of three-point leads before the Oles went on their 9-0 rally.

Jon Butala added 11 points for St. Olaf, while Anthony Boike and Ryan Johnson chipped in 10 each for the Cobbers.
