CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Juniors Brian Brungard and Kyle Kunestling, both from Dunkerton, Iowa, led the Kohawks to a season-opening victory over Wisconsin-Lutheran Friday night at the Eby Fieldhouse. Brungard scored 22 points, while Kuenstling added 17 to Coe\'s 93-62 win over the Warriors.

The Kohawks dominated in every area of the game, including outrebounding the Warriors 43-24. Coe shot 58.7% compared to 41% for Wisconsin-Lutheran.

Not only was Kuenstling dropping buckets for the Kohawks, he was contributing on all ends of the court. He finished with seven rebounds, four assists and four block shots to open his junior campaign.

Aaron Breitbarth, a senior from Ogden, Iowa, finished with 11 points, five rebounds and five assists.

The Kohawk bench outscored the Warrior bench 53-10, while getting 30 points off turnovers, compared to the 14 for Wisconsin-Lutheran.

Coe returns to action tomorrow night as they host Marian College. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. at Eby Fieldhouse
