Coe kept to form and spread the scoring around the team, just like the previous two games. Kale Peterson finished with 13 points, while Rob Hanna threw in 11 in a game where the Kohawks didn\'t score in the first two minutes. It was all about the Kohawks from there on.
Three point shooting proved to be the difference in the game as Coe went 6-11, including hitting all three second half attempts. The Mustangs finished 3-15, and only hit one in the second half.
The Kohawks will take a week off to prepare for conference rival Wartburg. The two teams shared the Iowa Conference title last season. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Eby Fieldhouse next Tuesday.
