Carleton's Sarah Lincoln matched her career high with 17 points and tallied nine rebounds and Hannah Oken-Berg added 16 points, four rebounds and three assists
Annie Keeley added 17 points for the Cobbers.
Anna Biewen added 10 points for the Knights, who had their six-game regular-season winning streak at Concordia's Memorial Auditorium ended. The game was a rematch of last year's MIAC Playoff title game, also won by Concordia.
The Knights (6-2, 3-2 MIAC) had rattled off 14 unanswered points, the last five by Amber Connor to grab a 51-46 lead with less than nine minutes left. Carleton's run was preceded by the Cobbers outscoring the Knights 8-2 to take their largest lead of the game, 46-38, seven minutes into the half.
Concordia (5-2, 3-1 MIAC) whittled away at Carleton's advantage, finally overtaking the Knights after a Hageman bucket and Jessica Heintz three-pointer, one of only three triples for the Cobbers on the evening.
The Knights tied the score three more times, the last at 61-61 with 3:24 left on Oken-Berg's layup.
Neither team would score a field goal the rest of the way and the Cobbers' final possession featured a number of mad scrambles and some controversy. After Concordia missed on a three-point attempt, it grabbed the rebound in the lane. The shot clock hadn't reset and so the Cobbers tossed up a desperation shot, which was rebounded by Carleton. The officials blew the play dead after the Knights had secured the rebound and determined the initial shot had hit the rim, the shot clock should have been reset and awarded the ball to the Cobbers underneath their own hoop.
Carleton, though, still had a number of chances to gain possession. The Cobbers missed a three and a layup but came away with offensive rebounds on both. After taking a timeout, they worked the ball inside to Hageman, who was fouled. She missed on the first, but following a Carleton timeout swished the second with five seconds left.
Carleton's Annie Isler had a look from about 30 feet at the horn, but her attempt came up short.
