Sarah Kunelius tallied 10 points and seven rebounds and Anna Biewen added 10 points for the Knights (6-1, 3-1 MIAC), who won the rematch between the two teams that met in last season's MIAC Playoff quarterfinal contest, also a Carleton win.
Jessica Heinen paced Hamline (4-3, 3-2 MIAC) with 11 points, six rebounds and seven steals. Krystal Tschumperlin added 10 points as the Pipers had their two-game winning streak ended.
Carleton trailed midway through the first half, 21-16, but closed the stanza on a 24-7 run and led 40-28 at the break. The lead grew to 19 midway through the second half and maintained that margin until a late Hamline run at the end of the game.
The first 12 minutes featured five ties and four lead changes. Oken-Berg scored six early points as the Knights opened to a 7-2 advantage, but Hamline eventually used a quick 7-2 spurt to tie the Knights. The hosts took their largest lead, 21-16, on an Ashley Vorwerk triple, but the Pipers had only one field goal the final eight minutes of the first half.
The second half saw the Pipers cold spell continue, as the hosts had but two field goals over the first eight minutes of the half and Carleton's lead ballooned to 55-36.
Carleton shot 43.5 percent (27-of-62) from the floor and held the Pipers to 20-of-68 shooting (29.4 percent). Carleton's lone undoing was turning the ball over 27 times, which led to 25 Hamline points.
