COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. — Senior Craig Schafer (Anoka, Minn./Anoka) scored 16 points and senior Matt Ohme (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) added 13 points to lead Saint John’s to a 67-54 victory over Augsburg on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at Sexton Arena in Collegeville.

Junior Brady Brink (Waconia, Minn./Waconia) added 10 points and 12 rebounds off the bench for the Johnnies (18-5, 16-2 MIAC) who now see themselves atop the MIAC standings after #3 St. Thomas’ 80-74 overtime loss at Gustavus Adolphus earlier this evening.

Femi Solaja poured in 16 points and added 14 rebounds to lead the Auggies (8-14, 5-12 MIAC), while teammate Jon Cassens added 13.

Saint John’s will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 14 against Hamline in Collegeville, while Augsburg will play host to Saint Mary’s this Saturday, Feb. 10 in Minneapolis.
