This is the fifth straight 20-win season for Fisher (20-5 overall, 11-3 Empire 8) and marks the fourth consecutive year that the Cardinals will host the conference tournament since it began in 2004.
Fisher will return host No. 4 R.I.T at 6 p.m. on Friday, whiile No. 2 Utica will play No. 3 Ithaca at 8 p.m. in the other semifinal. The two winners will play at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the championship game.
The Cardinals, who led by 10 at the half, shot 55.6% from the floor over the final 20 minutes to pull away. Senior Adrian Fenyn scored a career-high 19 points. Justin Beigel finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds, and also blocked two shots.
Chris Baltz and Dan Mueller also scored in double figures, scoring 11 and 10 points, respectively.
