Foro hit a trey with four seconds left in the game to cut the St. John Fisher lead to one point, but the Cardinals were solid from the line all night (18-25) with Napoleone going 4-4 in the final 20 seconds to earn the 62-59 win. The Hawks led by as many as eight points in the second half but were unable to pull out the win.
Lindsay Wilson also had 14 points for the Hawks to accompany nine assists. Mara Tichy had a game-high 11 rebounds and seven points and Jenny Knight recorded 13 points, five boards, and a blocked shot.
Leading four Cardinals in double-figures scoring was Ashley Dean with 16 points and five rebounds. Mary Kate Comfort had 13 points and seven rebounds and Allison Boehm and Mary Francis each chipped in 11 points for St. John Fisher.
Hartwick will host Alfred University tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Binder Gymnasium.
