Wesleyan 96, Eastern Connecticut 92IRVING, Texas — Hendrix College defeated the University of Dallas 82-64 behind the shooting of Tori Huggins (28) and Bonnie Hicks (22). The Warriors shot 74% from the line (Huggins was 14-17) as they extended their 13 point halftime lead.
Ana Castillo registered her 6 double-double of the year by scoring 18 points and hauling down 11 rebounds for the Crusaders in the defeat. She also added 5 assists. Shanie Cardinal added 17 points and Kristy Malone chipped in 12 points. Like the men’s team, the Lady Crusaders next game and first of the New Year is a January 8 home contest against Rhodes College.
